Ancient Roman Architecture

TURKIYE

There are a lot of theater buildings which had been built by ancient Romans in Turkiye and most of them are in our Mediterranean region. We visited three ancient cities with our e-twinning g team around our city and they all had theater buildings. They are partly damaged but still stand.
Here is the theater building in Sagalassos:

In our visit to Cremnia, which was also an Ancient Roman Town, we came across the ruins of a small theater, or maybe it was huge building at once and collapsed. Due to the lack of excavations it still keeps its mystery.
Here is the theater building that we saw in Cremnia:

In spring, with our e-twinning team we went to see Kbyra, which was known the lands of ancient warriors and gladiators. The city is at the top of a group of hills and seems fantastic. There we met two different theater-like buildings. as we were informed by an archeologist named Sağdıç Arabacı that one of them was only used for gladiator fighting and the other building was especially designed for art presentations like theater plays, musical events etc. We all were influenced with the view of the ancient city and those theaters. The most surprising  information was the family names which were carved on the seats of the Theater building. That means those families used to book those seats all the time and no one else used to sit there.

Here is the gladiator warriors building:
